NOTE: THESE PICTURE SETS ARE FOR LoneWolf's Calendar VERSIONS 2.6 AND EARLIER ONLY. THEY WON'T WORK WITH VERSION 3.0 AND LATER.

Of course you can find a lot of different electronic calendars on the Internet. Usually they are either huge files of several megabytes in size or tiny, pretty, useless applets that can only point you the current day and time. In between those two categories lies LoneWolf's CALENDAR, created by LoneWolf, a.k.a. MadScan. Among its excellent features, it can be customized to show a different picture for each month of the year. That's one of the reason why I prefer this calendar better than the other ones.

Every new year (for four years now) I designed a new picture set for LoneWolf's Calendar. To download one of the following sets, just click the corresponding picture below (shown in full size).

The first of these sets includes twelve of my favorites pictures from the Aetherea series—dating back to the last quarter of 2001 (you can see it at the Passageway [go])—while the second one includes another twelve pictures from the Middle Earth I & II and Blending Life rooms, originally published between 1999 and 2001.

Last year, I added some more varied sets, and this year I add a third set, so now you can choose among San Felipe del Morro (a 17th- 18th centuries Spanish fortress at San Juan, Puerto Rico), Black & White Photography, and Hieronymus Bosch paintings as well.

• Visit LoneWolf's Software page at http://www.lonewolf.gr/software/  and download enhcal.zip. (Current version is 3.0, so these picture sets won't work).
• Return to this page and pick up any of the fractal picture sets. There are some additional sets out there (over the Internet, that is), so you can download any one you like, not necessarily these ones.
• Once you get both files (the Calendar and the picture set), install enhcal.zip. A double click will start your Zip application: choose Unzip. You can install the package to any directory. Remember: THE PICTURES MUST BE PLACED IN THE SAME DIRECTORY.
• To extract the pictures, use your favorite file compression utility to open and extraxt the BMP files contain in the ZIP file.
• Later, you will need to create an icon (or "shortcut") and place it wherever you like. If you need help on how to create an icon, go to HELP (in the START menu) and ask for Create shortcut.

UPDATE: Will I ever do some picture sets for version 3.0 and later? Possibly not. The Calendar has some new features; some are very welcome, but overall, I don't like how its interface looks now. The least important of the changes is the new picture set's size of 127x194 pixels, instead of the 127x191 that previous versions used (that's what make my sets obsolete). As a result my picture sets, and this page, will disappear in the very near future.
