Lee Health, DispatchHealth unite to revolutionize in-home medical care

U.S.-based community healthcare system Lee Health has reportedly partnered with a major in-home healthcare provider, DispatchHealth. This partnership will enable patients in Southwest Florida to access high-quality in-home medical care.

For those unaware, DispatchHealth is known for providing a wide range of in-home medical care starting from minor or complex injuries, viral diseases, and other illnesses including congestive health failures, COPD exacerbations, and many more.

Lee Health, meanwhile, has already started offering in-home medical care to community members across Lee County, Florida from August 26.

Chief Officer Population Health and Physical Services at Lee Health Kris Fay was quoted saying that the company has always been developing new initiatives to provide high-quality medical care for people across the communities.

A partnership with DispatchHealth is envisioned to help patients get the right treatment at the right time inside the comfort of their homes. Fay added that with the innovative platform of DispatchHealth, patients will be provided with convenient, effective as well as affordable healthcare.

Patients will be able to seek medical care via phone call or by visiting DisptachHealth’s website as well as its mobile application, without any referral code following which a team of trained medical professionals will reach the patient’s residence.

This team will come with all the necessary tools and treatments which also include a CLIA certified lab and on-site diagnostics testing kits. Besides this, DispatchHealth will also offer additional needs like prescriptions, ongoing treatment with physicians as well as billing procedures with insurance companies.

Mark Prather, the co-founder, and CEO of DispatchHealth stated that the company is elated to partner with a leading healthcare system like Lee Health with a noble aim of expanding their unique in-home medical care model throughout the Fort Myers Community in Florida.

DisptachHealth has been operating in Florida since September 2020 and has witnessed massive growth since then. Its partnership with Lee Health is expected to further expand its reach throughout the state.
