bitFlyer launches its new cryptocurrency app across USA and Europe

Cryptocurrency exchange market is one of the largest and exponentially growing market across the globe, with Europe accounting for highest regional share. Global cryptocurrency firms are increasingly trying to gain users by launching proprietary apps to make trading much easier and adopting other similar strategies to set themselves apart from the competition.

An instance of this was recently observed when bitFlyer, a renowned Tokyo-based cryptocurrency exchange, reportedly launched its bitFlyer app to allow users to trade cryptocurrency. The app would be made available across the USA and Europe, and can be downloaded for free on both, Android and iOS.

The bitFlyer app would enable its users to sell and buy cryptocurrencies like Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Lisk (LSK), Monacoin (MONA), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

The Tokyo-based cryptocurrency firm has been trusted and used by millions of people worldwide since 2014 as the safest platform to easily sell and buy cryptocurrencies. Additionally, bitFlyer is the only exchange that is licensed to operate in Japan, Europe and the U.S.

The move comes after tZERO launched its own cryptocurrency app earlier in July. tZERO is a distributed ledger platform and cryptocurrency that was launched by Overstock.com.

The launch of this app is considered to be the latest step in the company’s growth strategy in America and Europe. This provides users with opportunities that are same as the ones that have already been made available in Japan, a market where bitFlyer is a well-recognized name and where it is also known for being among the longest existing cryptocurrency exchanges.

Founder of bitFlyer and CEO of bitFlyer USA, Yuzo Kano stated that with the company’s new bitFlyer apps, bitFlyer is bringing the security, reliability and the experience of Japan's industry leader to the company’s American and European customers, bridging the gap between the company’s service offerings and further creating a truly regulated and global exchange product.

Earlier in August, bitFlyer entered into a partnership with Tpoint Japan which enabled its users to earn t-point rewards from bitFlyer when using Bitcoin to buy services and products.

bitFlyer users can easily log on to the bitFlyer app through their existing account details. New traders could register to the app through an email address and adding the relevant information needed for KYC procedures to be able to deposit and start trading.
