The acquisition follows Horizon Capital’s original investment in Sabio in 2016 and belongs to an ongoing expansion strategy to augment the company’s solutions portfolio and regional coverage.

IT services management company Sabio Group has reportedly acquired Callware, Spain’s leading provider of Workforce Optimization, Cloud and Unified Communications contact center solutions with operations in Spain and Mexico. As per trusted sources, the acquisition reinforces Sabio Group’s domestic abilities establishing them as Spain’s biggest independent contact center expert.

Callware’s acquisition confirms Sabio as a leading autonomous provider of Workforce Optimization solutions and business consultancy, with Speech Analysis, Customer Experience Process Optimization, and Workforce Management being their specialty. Combining these specializations will enable the Sabio Group to deliver increased value to its clients throughout the globe, cite credible sources.

The acquisition reportedly follows Horizon Capital’s original strategic investment in Sabio in 2016 and belongs to an ongoing expansion strategy to augment the company’s solutions portfolio and geographic coverage. So far, this includes the acquisition of one of Europe’s leading contact center technology provider DatapointEurope, SaaS solutions provider Rapport, customer insight and contact center benchmarking experts Bright UK, and the leading provider of innovative Virtual Assistant solutions flexAnswer Solutions, claim authentic sources.

Andy Roberts, Chief Executive Officer of the Sabio Group, was quoted stating that the company understands the significance of engaged staff and effective workforce optimization processes in enabling businesses to offer brilliant customer experience.

Roberts further elaborated how Workforce Optimization remains an important investment area for organizations seeking to differentiate experience via customer engagement. The acquisition is a smart move considering it helped scale up activities related to global Workforce Optimization and established the company as Verint’s foremost partner in Europe, Roberts added.

He noted that beyond the addition of major clients like Atento, BBVA, Securitas, and Banco Sabadell this acquisition considerably strengthens Sabio’s capacity to provide an enlarged range of skills to its combined client family in Spain. Callware’s presence in Mexico also helps the company strengthen its involvement in the Intelligent Communications Alliance (ICA) throughout South and Central America, by offering BellTech, Sabio’s local partner, with specialist WFO and Analytics skills, Roberts added.
